Liquor store financing FAQ

Straight answers to the questions liquor store owners ask us most.

Frequently asked questions

How fast can I get funded?
You'll hear back the same business day you contact us. Once you send your 3 most recent business bank statements, approval can come the same day, and funding typically takes 3–7 business days.
How much can my liquor store get?
Funding ranges from $5,000 to $1.5 million, and can reach up to about a third of your store's annual gross sales depending on your bank statements and credit.
What do I need to qualify?
Own an operating store (30+ days under your ownership), about $17,000+ in monthly sales, a credit score around 575+, and your last 3 months of business bank statements.
Will checking my options hurt my credit?
No. Checking your pre-approval numbers doesn't affect your credit score.
What are the terms?
Fixed repayment terms up to 36 months with fixed weekly payments. Interest-only options may be available on some programs.
Is this a merchant cash advance?
No. These are business loans with a fixed payment and a set term. Payments don't change with your daily sales.
Can I pay off my cash advances with a loan?
Often, yes. Many owners use a fixed-payment loan to replace daily-debit advances. Your specialist will look at your payoffs and tell you whether it lowers your payments.
Can I get funding to buy or open a liquor store?
Our fast-funding program is for stores that are already operating. For acquisitions and new stores, SBA 7(a) loans are usually the best route. See acquisition loans and startup loans.
Does lottery revenue affect my eligibility?
Not for our program. For SBA loans, a business is ineligible if more than one-third of gross revenue comes from legal gambling, but for most stores, lottery is a small share.
Why won't my distributor give me longer payment terms?
Federal tied-house rules and state credit laws limit the credit alcohol suppliers can extend to retailers, and many states require payment on or near delivery.
Who funds the loans?
Our licensed lending partner, ARF Financial, LLC (California Finance Lender License No. 6037958), in business since 2001. Liquor Stores Financing is not a lender. See disclosures.
Which states do you serve?
We work with liquor store owners nationwide. Availability can vary by state.
